The Carnegie Hall Performance
This CD was recorded on September 24, 2005 at
the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City and features Lewis'
vein-bulging rants on topics ranging from his parents, to gay
marriage, to Rick Santorum and the Terry Schivo story. But perhaps
the highlight of this CD is the 17 minute track on Lewis' turn at
the Congressional Correspondents Dinner. Too much material to be
contained on just one disk, this double CD is full to the brim with
nearly 90 minutes of amazing material. In 2007, Lewis took home a
well-deserved Grammy for Best Comedy Album for this performance. |

Luther Burbank Performing Arts Center Blues
Here's the deal. Comedy Central was interested
in me doing an EP to come out just before the election and so we did
this on the fly in Santa Rosa, California. We didn't get all the
equipment we wanted to mic the audience and since Dan and John
weren't there and since they are the producer and the sound man for
all my other CDs, I felt it was kind of a bootleg and was amazed
when the powers that be wanted to make it my next CD. So that is
what this is to me and why I packaged it the way I did, it's a
bootleg of a fun night with a great audience, doing a set that
continued to evolve later. I was completely stunned when it was
nominated for a Grammy. Just goes to show, I don't know what, but it

The End Of The Universe
Lewis Black has seen the end of the Universe and
oddly enough it's in Houston, TX. This album was first recorded just
before September 11, 2001 and as a result needed to be re-recorded.
Lewis waxes eloquent about patriotism, airport security and needing
to re-record an album. |

Rules of Enragement
Even when ranting about the mundane, Lewis'
material has a fiery and hilarious edge. But when he moves on to
more serious matters, he shows he can be every bit as funny with

The White Album
After two decades on the comedy circuit, The
White Album unleashed the fury that is Lewis Black on a much wider
audience. It perfectly captures his enraged style and presents it
effortlessly to the listeners. It was chosen by the comedy 'zine Two
Drink Minimum as one of "the five that will be classics."
Plus, it added the infamous phrase "If it weren't for my horse"
to the vernacular.
